DENNIS — Advisory Committee on Disabilities reviews FY26 spending and advances accessibility initiatives. With $9,385.86 spent and $15,989.14 remaining through June, the committee prioritized an Accessibility Guide and mat for Scargo Lake. Brenda Vazquez, DCAL Director and ADA Coordinator, reported the Lending Library will launch by April 2026.
The Select Board approved the committee's FY27 budget request of $26,300 in level funding, pending Finance Committee approval. Grethe Kaeselau sent a memo to the Town Clerk, IT Department, and Human Resources requesting updates to town documents and websites to meet ADA Transition Plan requirements.
