DENNIS — The Waterways Commission heard significant concerns about the town's boat slip allocation system. Guest John Tronti presented a written assessment highlighting how current boat slip holders seeking relocation could wait years without receiving a new assignment, and proposed a first-come, first-serve approach. The commission also unanimously approved May 13 meeting minutes and a revenue report showing year-to-date receipts of $1,084,567.
Harbormaster Representative C. Smith is reviewing procedures from other towns, while Commissioner R. Kelly requested that Smith draft a proposal for review and vote at the next meeting.
