Dennis Comprehensive Plan Survey Remains Open For Input
The town's News Flash feed on Thursday pointed residents to a fresh update on the ongoing Wastewater Project, while officials continued to push residents to weigh in on the Dennis Local Comprehensive Plan through a newly opened community survey.

The Town of Dennis posted an update on July 9 to its Wastewater Project page, directing residents to the latest project information without detailing specific changes in the News Flash summary itself. Residents following the multi-year sewer buildout can find the update at the town's civic alerts page.
Separately, town officials opened a community survey tied to the Dennis Local Comprehensive Plan, an effort described in a July 8 News Flash post under the banner "Your Voice. Your Town. Your Plan." The town has also posted an informational video alongside the survey to help residents understand the planning process and how to submit feedback.
Town Hall's calendar also shows the Select Board and Finance Committee holding a joint meeting next week, part of ongoing budget and planning coordination between the two bodies.

The Dennis Public Library has a full slate of programming on the calendar this month. A Family Paint Party and the Mystery Book Club are both set for Tuesday, July 14, followed by Blood Pressure and Wellness Checks and the DPL Book Club on Wednesday, July 15. Play, Storytime and Craft returns Thursday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m., paired that same evening with a session on Understanding AI and Misinformation at 6 p.m.
The library is also hosting Select Board Drop-In Office Hours on Saturday, July 18 at 10 a.m., giving residents a chance to speak directly with a board member in a library setting. Later in the month, a Pop-up Art School felted butterfly hoop craft session is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, followed by Family Game Day on July 22 and another Play, Storytime and Craft session on July 23.
