Shellfish Committee · Meeting of March 18, 2026
Dennis Shellfish Committee approves February minutes and reviews constable operations. Shellfish Constable Jordan Halloran reported five commercial permits sold and requested a Select Board extension of recreational oyster season through the last Sunday in April to offset winter ice losses. The Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and discussed volunteer recruitment for herring counts running April 1 through June 15, as well as efforts to recognize the constable's enhanced communication with the Department of Natural Resources.
