DENNIS — The Dennis Select Board unanimously approved five articles for the upcoming town meeting, including $720,000 for a replacement ambulance from existing reserves. The board approved $15,000 for fuel assistance, $71,200 for child care subsidy from the Landfill Solar Special Revenue Fund, and General Bylaw amendments on sewer fees. Finance Director Josee Cardinal noted the ambulance purchase eliminates borrowing authorized at the 2024 Annual Town Meeting.
Council on Aging Director Brenda Vazquez reported the Dennis Center for Active Living secured more than $500,000 in grant funding since opening in 2024 to expand caregiver and dementia resources.
