Dennis Select Board authorized a $2.01 million Port Side Community Park construction contract. The Board voted 5-0 to authorize Town Administrator Elizabeth Sullivan to execute the Notice of Award with contractor Robert B. Our, pending October 6 voter approval.
In other decisions, the Board voted unanimously to proceed with collections on delinquent ambulance receivables from non-residents, approved $9,600 for Wixon School building evaluation, and appointed Daniel Popovich as Special Police Officer and two student police officers. Finance Director Josee Cardinal presented a five-year financial forecast showing an $80,686 excess levy for FY2028 but projected deficits in subsequent years without new revenue sources.
