DENNIS — Select Board completes 20 committee appointments in April session. The Dennis Select Board voted on 20 appointments to 18 town committees during an April 7 afternoon meeting at Town Hall. Among appointments: Kate Kane to the 1867 West Dennis Graded School House, Luke Furey to the Board of Health, and Josh Brimdyr to the Community Preservation Committee.
Board member John Terrio arrived midway through at 3:46 p.m., prompting vote tallies of 3-0-0 on early appointments and 4-0-0 thereafter. Chris Lambton abstained on Sue Lauder's appointment to the Shellfish Committee, resulting in a 3-0-1 vote. Board member Carlyn Carey was absent.
