DENNIS — Recreation Commission reviews summer camp readiness and YMCA facility awareness. Gerrit Murphy, Programs liaison, reported hiring three supervisors for the nine-week camp starting June 29, 2026, with day trips to Fenway Park and Battleship Cove at no additional charge to families. An Information Open House was well attended but drew few younger-child parents; attendees voiced the perception that a proposed Lower Cape YMCA would be free to town residents, though most lack awareness of Barnstable YMCA fee structures.
Paul McCormick will introduce Article 13 (Owners Project Manager and Designer Services) at the May 5 town meeting.
