Dennis Library Board meets as summer programming ramps across five town branches. Chair Kate Byron welcomed South Dennis Library representatives and discussed ongoing traffic issues affecting library access. Director Nancy Symington reported that a Story Walk featuring "More Cape Cod Critters" will open at Johnny Kelley Park in late June, and Little Libraries will launch at beaches with stocking beginning June 28.
All five library branches reported summer events: Dennis Public Library named Nick Lawler as Assistant Director, while South Dennis Library announced the retirement of Treasurer Bob Farias and a new painted-shell fundraiser. The board adjourned with no July or August meetings scheduled.
