Dennis Library Board accepts prior minutes and receives budget update. Library Director reported that the proposed budget will go before the town Finance Committee in February or March and that the libraries received a grant from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute that included desktops, laptops, tablets, and whiteboards. The board discussed the impact of town-wide road construction on two library buildings and suggested increased signage to alert patrons that the branches remain open.
Five library branches reported upcoming programs including Tai Chi, robotics, sensory-friendly movies, and a hospice education talk on death and dying.
