Dennis Historical Commission unanimously backs accessible ramp relocation at Carleton Hall to reveal historic original door. The five-member commission approved a support letter to the Select Board and architects, which would expose a door once connecting the former Academy and Ladies Library kitchens. Members also unanimously designated an American Elm tree at West Dennis Graded School as a Liberty Tree, planted during the Revolutionary War Bi-Centennial.
The Dennis Conservation Land Trust, led by Executive Director David Fryxell, acquired a 1840s farmhouse at 138 Sesuit Neck Road in East Dennis for rental housing and office space.
