Dennis Finance Committee names Mason to fill vacancy, seeks bylaw shift. The committee unanimously appointed Josh Mason, a construction supervisor with 20 years of executive leadership experience, to a Finance Committee vacancy through May 2027. In a separate unanimous vote, the committee recommended to the Select Board an amendment to the Finance Committee Bylaw proposing that the town Moderator fill future vacancies instead of the Committee itself, reversing a practice dating to the 1970s.
