Select Board · Meeting of August 25, 2026

Dennis Select Board approves affordable housing trust grant revision without advance CPC sign-off. The 3-1 vote allows the Dennis Municipal Affordable Housing Trust to disburse $300,000 for eligible affordable housing purposes and report expenditures afterward, overcoming objections from CPC Chair Kellie Dionne and CPC member Chris Foley, who warned the change could allow ineligible spending. Select Board member Jim Plath dissented.

In other business, the Board unanimously approved a $44,527 three-year union contract with DACU MassCOP Local 532; authorized a $560,505 Golf Department contract with Coastal Custom Builders; and amended the Substance Use Disorder Advisory Council charge to require twice-yearly reporting to the Board.
