Dennis Conservation Commission approves stormwater projects backed by $2.2 million federal funding. Town Engineer Tom Andrade presented two drainage improvement projects at Old Fish House Road and Cove Road, part of a seven-landing initiative funded by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and Cape Cod Conservation District. The projects aim to treat stormwater runoff, improve flood resilience, and protect shellfish resources.
Both projects received unanimous approval with variances to allow work in buffer zones. The Commission also approved septic upgrades at two Cove Lane properties, all of which will use MicroFAST treatment technology with UV disinfection.
