Dennis disabilities committee funds three accessibility projects. The Advisory Committee on Disabilities unanimously approved allocations totaling $4,455.25: $3,583.25 for 25 disability parking signs and posts, $190 for wristbands for the Living with Differences educational program, and $682 for mobi mats at Dr. Lord's beach access area.
Committee member Bill Savicki reported that recent Living with Differences presentations went well, with adaptive equipment displayed. The committee will staff a booth at Long Pasture Day on July 29 to showcase adaptive equipment.
