Dennis Conservation Commission approves dwelling addition with coastal-bank buffer-zone variance. Chairman MacDonald and Members Clark, Norman, Hulst, Lombardi, and Chamberlain voted 5-1 to allow the Goodman Family Trust to construct a 217-square-foot addition within a 50-foot buffer zone at 9 Division Street, Dennisport, contingent on 504 square feet of native plantings as mitigation; Commissioner Hulst opposed. The Pollock Notice of Intent for an addition and accessory dwelling unit was continued pending a revised mitigation plan.
The Commission voted unanimously to issue three $300 enforcement citations for unpermitted deck construction and expansion at 13 Dunes Road, 61 Uncle Stephens Road, and 155 Route 134, requiring removal of any work outside originally approved footprints.
