Dennis Closes Crowes Pasture to Off-Road Vehicles
The town has closed the Crowes Pasture recreational ORV area to vehicle traffic effective immediately, according to a notice posted on the town website July 24, while boards including the Select Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Tourism Committee prepare to meet this week.

The town announced Thursday that the Crowes Pasture recreational off-road vehicle area is closed, effective immediately, per the official notice posted to the town website. No additional detail on the reason for the closure or an expected reopening date was included in the posting.
The town's wastewater project also received an update, with new information posted July 23 for residents tracking the ongoing sewer infrastructure effort; the town directs residents to the dedicated wastewater project page on the town website for the latest details.
Town officials continue to seek a resident to fill a vacancy on the Finance Committee, a search Town Hall first announced last week and that remains open.
This week's municipal calendar includes several board meetings: the Advisory Committee on Disabilities and the Tourism Committee both meet Monday, July 27, along with the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Select Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday, July 28.

STEM Fun Day is set for Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 brings "Frog: A Modern Day Fairy Tale" at 10:30 a.m., and Thursday, July 30 offers both a Play, Storytime and Craft session at 10:30 a.m. and a "Grow Your Own Mushrooms" program at 5:30 p.m.
Looking further out, the library has already posted programming through mid-August, including Music & Movement with Julie on August 1, a Movie & Pizza event August 4, LEGO Play on August 5, and Musical Discoveries on August 6.
