Dennis Affordable Housing Trust funds rental subsidy slot
Dennis Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of February 9, 2026
Dennis Affordable Housing Trust funds one rental subsidy slot. Co-Chair Robert Samoluk reported that the Dennis Housing Authority's rental subsidy program, which provided $350 monthly payments for three years plus life skills coaching, lost Community Preservation Committee funding and could no longer accept new applicants. The Trust voted unanimously to transfer $12,600 from its House account to reinstate one slot.
Treasurer David Winther said the Trust held approximately $64,000 in its House account and $160,000 in town-held funds as of September 30, 2025. Samoluk said the move was designed to help a specific family that had been referred to the program but had missed the CPC funding window.
