Dennis Affordable Housing Trust retains law firm for ongoing housing advisory services. The Trust voted unanimously to engage Galvin & Galvin at $185 per hour for Principal Counsel, with approximately $175,000 in available free cash from in-lieu payments to fund services. Town Planner Paul Foley presented revised draft Section 4.9 Zoning Bylaws covering affordable housing, noting that of 444 units approved under the section over time, only 315 were built and 106 made the Subsidized Housing Inventory.
Co-Chair Robert Samoluk reported that lottery services costs have risen to $25,000 and the Community Preservation Committee rescinded funding for seven Housing Authority Rental Subsidy Program slots due to unfilled positions.
