Conservation Commission issues five orders, moves three items forward

Dennis Conservation Commission issues five Orders of Conditions in single meeting. The board unanimously approved Orders for Bullock (23 River Lane, raze and replace), Shea, Marostica, Sullivan, Yuan & Li, Blumenthal Jeffrey Trust, and Dennis Conservation Land Trust (East Dennis salt marsh restoration), McDowell (11 Main Street septic upgrade), and Epsilon Portunus LLC (Lower County Road septic and foundation work), while voting 4-2 to issue an Order for Sasson & Cummings (60 Church Street, new dwelling and septic upgrade) with Commissioners Clark and Hulst opposed. The Harper Nominee Trust revetment project (104 Scarsdale Road) advanced to February 5 following Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program review; applicant has proposed 155 cubic yards of annual sediment nourishment and a coastal bank restoration plan with dense beach grass and diversified plantings.
Two new Determinations of Applicability were issued for dwelling elevation work and beach stair replacement, and Certificates of Compliance closed out Lamb and Mayflower Beach Rental projects.
