Dennis Community Preservation Committee voted unanimously to seek counsel on bleachers and heard three historic preservation and recreation funding applications. The Cape Cod Museum of Arts requested $226,088 for siding repair, cupola work, and system upgrades; the Cape Cod Center for the Arts requested funding for Phase Two of Playhouse renovation including rigging system replacement from its 1927 installation and mechanical system upgrades. The YD Red Sox proposed recreation improvements including bleachers at Red Wilson Field, but the committee determined under Department of Revenue guidance that bleachers do not qualify for Community Preservation Act funding.
