Dennis Community Preservation Committee approves three projects, seeks counsel on two. Committee members voted unanimously on May 14 to fund the Town of Dennis Portside Community Park, the Cape Cod Museum of Art Preservation and Rehabilitation, and the Cape Cod Center for the Arts Restoration of Pond-Senn Scene Shop. Chair Kellie Dionne directed referrals to Town Counsel for legal review of two applications: Friends of Bass River for the Indian Lands Area Project and Housing Assistance Cape Cod for its Assistance Resource Center, both raising questions about preservation-law eligibility.
The Committee also deferred the YD Red Sox ADA Walkway and Seating Safety Enhancement Project pending applicant revision to remove bleachers, which fall outside Recreation funding rules.
