Committee backs Sesuit Harbor project with climate language added.

Dennis energy committee unanimously endorses Sesuit Harbor stormwater project. Chair Rico Maddamma and Assistant Town Administrator Greg Rounseville will revise the letter of endorsement to insert "and hazard mitigation," and the committee noted that renewable energy options like heat pumps remain viable if the warrant article passes and the project goes to bid. Town Engineer Tom Andrade will shepherd grant opportunities identified by member Christine Boucher to town administrators.
The committee also directed Maddamma to obtain the town's Emergency Plan and tasked members with reviewing planning documents for hazard mitigation work being coordinated by the Police Department.
