Board of Health · Meeting of May 14, 2026

DENNIS — The Dennis Board of Health approved four septic system variances and two testing-reduction requests at its May 14 meeting. Chairman Covell and members Chamberlain, Terrio, and Furey backed voluntary and new-construction upgrades at properties on New Boston Road, Gages Way, Route 134, and Arrowhead Drive, all with standard conditions prohibiting garbage disposals and requiring water-saving devices. The board granted Ronald Lombard and Diane Todd relief from quarterly testing to once yearly under state general-use guidance.

A motel-conversion application by KLV17 Lodging LLC withdrew without prejudice after architect Keith MacKenzie-Betty cited unfinalized change-of-use regulations. Multiple show-cause matters were continued or removed after applicants achieved compliance with septic upgrades or rental inspections.
