DENNIS — Beach Committee approves sand sculpture contest for Sunday, August 2 at Mayflower Beach. The unanimously approved event runs 7:00 to 11:00 AM and includes pre-registration and vendor signage. Chair Kathy Moorey's committee also advanced the West Dennis Beach Snack Bar renovation project, which won Select Board and Finance Committee recommendation for the May 5 town meeting warrant and will be funded from the Beach Improvement Fund.
Administrative staff D. Pineau reported completion of a Beach Season Education Video produced by volunteer Jon Damon, to be shared on social media and the town website.
